Robert George Frederick

Kenosha – Robert G. Frederick, age 92, passed away at Hospice House in Kenosha, WI on Sunday, May 19, 2013.  Robert was born on April 22, 1921 in Kenosha County WI to the late John and Elizabeth (Nee: Seitz) Frederick.

Robert served his country in the United States Army. He served in WWII with Patton’s Third Army and he was a tank mechanic. Robert was a lifelong resident of Paris Township living in the same house for most of his life.  He met and married the love of his life, the late Lorraine (Nee: Redlinger) Frederick. Robert worked as a Dairy Farmer, along with one of his brother, to form R & R Frederick. He was one of the original members of the Paris Zoning Board, a member of the Catholic Knights and a member of the VFW.  Robert enjoyed the life of a farmer, working with his animals, time spent with friends and family and a warm sunny day.

Robert is survived by; his sons, Daniel Frederick and Edward Frederick; daughters, Joan (Peter) Ptacek, Jean Frederick, Jane (Robert Jones) Frederick and June (Daniel) Kosterman; Grandchildren, Lauren (Zach Bock) Ptacek and Jacob Ptacek; Sister in law, Edna Frederick; Brother in law, Emil Redlinger and many other loving relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine, both of his parents; brothers, Matthew, Raymond, Norman, Bernard and William; sisters, Gertrude, Marcella and Catherine and special friend Lila Christiansen.  Robert will be missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at St. John the Baptist, 1501 172nd St, Union Grove, WI, Friday, May 24, 2013 at 11:00am with Father Russell Arnett officiating. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday, May 23rd from 4pm – 7pm and at the church on Friday from 10am until the time of service.

    My thoughts and prayers go out to the frederick family, Bob was well loved and respected by our whole family . He was a wonderful man, great friend and mostly a second father to my brother Robert Jones.
