Racine— In loving memory of our beloved Steven Albert Andersen, 42, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center on Tuesday, December 21, 2010.
Steven was born in Racine on February 10, 1968. He was a certified electrician and an accomplished “jack of all trades”; enjoyed music – especially playing the drums; volunteered at the meal programs of Gethsemane Lutheran Church; loved and cared for all people and animals; was forever extending a helping hand to someone in need; and had a wonderful sense of humor that could make the saddest person laugh. He will be greatly missed!
Surviving are his parents, Barbara J. (nee: Ferg) Andersen and Terry A. (Bettye) Andersen, sisters, Laura J. Andersen-Coe and Susan M. Lucas; brother, Paul D. Andersen; half-sister, Stefanie (Carlos) Martinez; step-sister, Lisa (Ron) Zimmerman; many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 11 am – 1 pm.

Steve will be greatly missed. I went to school with Steve and he ALWAYS made me laugh when I was feeling down. My prayers and thoughts are with his family during this time.
