Thomas Lee Hicks

Oct 18, 1942 – Jun 14, 2016

~~Mt. Pleasant – Thomas L. Hicks, 73, passed away unexpectedly at WF – All Saints Medical Center in Racine, WI on June 14, 2016.  Tom was born in Maury City, Tennessee on October 18, 1942, to the late Leroy and Florence (née: Koonce) Hicks.

He was united in marriage to Beverly D. Cobb in Racine, Wisconsin on June 29, 1964.

Tom was employed at Racine Steel Castings, retiring after more than 30 years of service.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Hicks; children, Bryan  (Zendre) Hicks, Thomas Daryl Hicks and April (Juan) Bonilla; brother, Robert Hicks; sister, Lucy (Willie) Curtis;  8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; his brothers and sisters in-law; Annie and Barbara Hicks, Janet Mitchell, Betty Thomas, Wilma (Claude) Rogers, Wanda, Paul, Troy (Nola) and Gary (Elaine) Cobb, as well as many other aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

He was  preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Hicks; two brothers, Curtis Eugene and Walter Ray Hicks; 2 sisters, Rebecca (Leonard Sr.) Johnson, Opalene (Amos) Smith; 3 sisters in-law and 3 brothers in-law.
Funeral services will be held at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at1:00 p.m. with Charles Reams officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home from 11:00a.m. until the time of service.
