Timothy "Timmy" Young

Apr 7, 1960 – Apr 4, 2007

Kenosha- Timothy Young, 46, was called home to meet his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 4, 2007. Timmy was born in Evanston, IL on April 7, 1960 to Lewis Henry and Betty (nee: Howze) Young. It was in Evanston where he met Denise Young. In 1972, his family moved to Racine. Later, as a young man, he was reunited with his childhood sweetheart, Denise Young, and they were united in holy matrimony in 1981. To this union, five beautiful children were born: Timothy Jr., Matthew, Tiffany, Adam and Shannon. Timmy was employed at Patrick Cudahy and did home maintenance repair. He enjoyed fixing things, helping others and making people laugh. His family was his pride and joy. He has left this place but will forever be in our hearts. In addition to his children, Timmy leaves behind to mourn his passing: his beloved mother, Betty Young; brothers, Paul (Lolisa) Young and Michael (Amy) Young; former wife, Denise Young; special friend, Valory Johnson; and by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention by name. Timmy was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Henry Young, Sr. and brother, Lewis Henry Young, Jr. Homegoing services will be celebrated in the funeral home, 4600 County Line Rd., on Monday, April 9, 2007 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Viewing will be in the funeral home on Monday from 10-11 am. In Timmy’s own words – “It’s a Y.O.U.N.G. thang!”

Dear Langendorf Family,

There are no words to describe how thankful and loved we felt during our Grandpa’s funeral service. We are so lucky to know you as friends and we will be forever grateful for everything you have done for us and for Grandpa Mario throughout his lifetime and after his death. He loved you all and enjoyed sharing so many great times with you in the barbershop and as neighbors.
